Education

  • Rosemary Bocska obtained her law degree from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 1989.

  • She obtained her undergraduate degree (Hons. Psychology and English) from the University of Windsor in 1986.

 

Early Law Practice Experience

  • After her call to the Ontario Bar in 1991, Rosemary practiced at a well-known employment and labour law firm.

  • In 1992 she established her legal research practice.

  • Concurrently through the years 1994 to 2003, she also worked full-time at LexisNexis Canada as Legal Information Manager in charge of Canadian legal on-line content on LexisNexis, the respected on-line legal information service.

Research Lawyer Experience

​

Rosemary has focused her law practice exclusively on legal research and writing since 1992.

​

  • She provides high-quality legal research and writing services in all areas of the law.

  • She has also worked both in-house and on a contract basis for a number of prominent legal publishers, including LexisNexis/Butterworths, Thomson Carswell Professional Publishing, Canada Law Book, and Lancaster House.

  • She has written for over 75 legal publications, and most recently is the author or current updating author of several titles including:
